AIDA 3 Freediving Course – 4-Day Advanced Program

Take your freediving to the next level with the AIDA 3 Advanced Freediver Course.
This course builds on AIDA2 skills and teaches you advanced techniques, safety procedures, and deeper diving disciplines.

What You’ll Learn

• Advanced breathing techniques & relaxation

• Frenzel equalization for deeper dives

• Freefall and streamlining for efficient movement

• Depth disciplines: Static Apnea (STA), Dynamic Apnea (DYN), Free Immersion (FIM), Constant Weight (CWT)

• Understanding pressure, physiology, MDR, barotrauma & safety concepts

• Training methods & dive response theory

• AIDA Freediver Code of Conduct

 Prerequisites

• 18+ years old (16–17 with parental consent)

• 200m non-stop swim (no fins) or 300m (with fins/mask/snorkel)

• AIDA2 Certification (or equivalent from another agency)

Course Duration & Daily Schedule

Total Duration: 4 Days
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00–5:00 PM (each day)

Daily Plan (Approx.)

Day 1 – Pool Training

• Theory: physiology, training methods

• Breathing, stretching, meditation

• Static & Dynamic apnea (STA/DYN)

• Safety & rescue techniques

Day 2 – Open Water (Onna area)

• Breathing warm-up & stretching

• Constant Weight (CWT) & Free Immersion (FIM) depth training

• Freefall techniques

• Safety drills & rescue

Day 3 – Advanced Open Water Training

• Continued CWT/FIM depth work

• Streamlining & technique refinement

• Rescue training

Day 4 – Final Session

• Performance dives

• Safety & rescue scenario

• Review, Q&A, and written exam

📄 AIDA3 PDF textbook will be sent after booking – please read it before the course.
📝 Written exam will be provided on the final day. You can submit it later at your own pace if needed.

Option 1:
🕘 9:30 AM – Chatan: Uminchu Wharf Lobby (📍View Map)

Option 2:

🕥 10:30 AM – Training Location

• Day 1: Pool facility (Chatan)

• Day 2–4: Open Water Site – Blue Cave (Onna area)

☔ In case of bad weather:
If sea conditions are poor, the open water sessions may be moved to Motobu (northern area).
The final dive site and meeting time will be confirmed by email the day before the course.
Please note: The schedule may start earlier and end later on these days (approx. 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
